Kendriya Vidyalaya Online Fees Payment: Students Can Now Pay Fees via UPI Mobile Apps

The NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd (NBBL), a subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has announced that students of Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) across India can now pay their school fees conveniently through BHIM UPI or Bharat BillPay-enabled UPI mobile apps such as Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm.

Seamless Fee Payment for 1.4 Million Students

Currently, over 1.4 million students are enrolled in Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. With this new initiative, students and parents can make hassle-free digital payments without the need for cash transactions or visiting banks.

The Union Bank of India has played a key role in enabling this collaboration, ensuring a smooth transition to digital fee payment for students across all KVs in India.

NPCI’s Initiative for Digital Empowerment

According to NPCI, integrating Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) into the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) is in line with the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) vision of enhancing digital financial inclusion in the education sector.
